Sculptural Imprints at Home
Samer grew up in Saudi Arabia, and credits his unconscious desire to embed contrasting materials to the mud-houses he grew up in, which were supported by wooden beams.
He has also been deeply moved and inspired by islands and fjords that he came across in his travels.
Here, in his own home, as he builds his gardens, he will drop objects such as glass, ceramics, pebbles into freshly poured concrete, watching as these archipelagoes freeze in time.
